joined the US Marines on 17 July 2000. Chris has a delayed entry date to report 3 October 2000 for boot camp at Paris Island, SC. From there he will be entering Military Police training. Chris is a son of William Joseph & Barbara Jane Plemons: A grandson of Joseph (Joe) & Rebecca Plemons. Joe is a retired Sergeant Major from the US Army. Chris is a great grandson of Arthur & Martha Plemons:" A great great grandson of Solomon Albert & Matilda Plemons. Solomon was a First Sergeant in "F" Company 60^th Georgia Regt of the Confederate States of America.

Jeff is assigned to the Chemical Biological Incident Reactionary Force at the U S Naval Station, Indian Head, MD. Jeff is a son of Robert Elwyn & Eugenia Jolene Plemons and a grandson of Robert Ernest & Vista Plemons and a great grandson of Robert Henry & Bessie Plemons. And a great great grandson of Joseph T. & Dicey Plemons. Joseph T. served with "F" Co 11^th Ga Regt of the Confederate States of America and was wounded at Funkstown, MD resulting in the loss of his right leg at the knee.
