Colonel Jack Mayfield Plemons
BRANCHES and our whole family lost a good and valuable friend with the recent passing of Colonel Jack M. Plemons. The Plemons name was honored by his life and his service. We will miss him!

I apologize for delaying the publication of this issue of the newsletter. Joe Plemons and I have been holding time until we could locate a picture of Jack to be used for the cover. As explanation, Jack has been a very loyal supporter and contributor to the newsletter and we felt that he deserved recognition. Jack has worked in the background to keep the newsletter alive. News of his illness was a terrible blow to us all, and although after his condition worsened, the end foretold , it was equally shocking. - Warren
