The Rev. G. Pruette Plemens was recently named minister of music and worship at Ooltewah United Methodist Church. The Rev. Plemens has bachelor's degree in church music from Carson-Newman College and is pursuing a master's in church music at Lee University. He has been a national worship leader for Promise Keepers events featuring Dr. Raleigh Washington and Dr. Tony Evans. He is also a published composer and arranger.

The Rev. Plemens and his wife, Deborah, are expecting their first child this month.

DIRECTIONS : Pell City is about 30 miles east of Birmingham on Interstate 20.

Ramada Limited is located at Exit 158 = From the Ramada go south on Highway 231 which is also Martin St. to Highway 34. Turn left (east) on Highway 34 you will pass the Civic Center. Turn left on Mays Bend Road (there is a turning lane for this road and also a sign telling you to turn left for the airport). Go apx 1/2 mile and turn left on the dirt road just past the airport. From Mays Bend Road you'll be able to see the pond with a walkway bridge over it, where we will have the fish fry.

Best Western is located at Exit 162 = From the Best Western go west on Highway 70 to Hardwick Rd. Turn left on Hardwick Road and go to Highway 34. Turn left (east) on Highway 34 and follow the directions as given above from Ramada Limited.
