John and Thomas were brothers and the sons of John and Cecilia Plemons After Sarah's husband John died we find their son Solomon Albert living in the house on one side of the widow Sarah and Samuel N. living in the house on the other side of her. With this evidence we could say that "Samuel could have been a son of Sarah or he could have been a nephew of Sarah".

Several things could be implied from this census: 1. Andrew is a son of Harriet. 2. Harriet Married young, lost her husband and was left with young Andrew. 3. Harriet gave birth to Andrew out of wedlock. 4. Harriet came to stay with Samuel to help out with his small children after his 1^st wife died.

Constance has identified the following spelling variations in her family PLEMON, PLYMAN, PLYMEN and PLYMING. She was born in East London, South Africa and has a sister still living there. She calls Cape Town her home as she spent most of her life there. Her husband Bruce is an Australian who is in the Pulp and Paper Industry. She met him while living in London. They were transferred some 2O years ago from Australia to Canada and they have during these years moved around quite a number of times mainly in the South. At present they are living in Sulphur,Louisiana which is a ten minute commute from Lake Charles. As far as Constance knows she is the only member of her family living in North America. At one time Constance spoke with some elderly relatives and they told her that the Plymen family is of Saxon Stock.

Plymentun England was a town outside of Plymouth. Plymentun was settled by Saxon Raiders in 610 AD. The place is mentioned in the Oxford Book of Place Names and the Oxford Book of River Names. The Saxon Chronicals also mentioned the name and this book is much older than the Doomsday Book.
