age 56 died 17 March 2000 in Ringgold, GA. Charles was the owner and operator of Ringgold Floor Covering with more than 37 years service. He was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Plemons: son, Vincent Plemons of Ringgold: father, George Edgar Plemons of Ringgold: two sisters, Imogene Vaughn, of Rome and Margaret Ann Wright of Ringgold and two grandchildren.. Burial was 20 March in lakewood Memorial Gardens, South. Charles was a grandson of George Henry Plemons and great grandson of George lafayette Plemons. (SEE COVER PHOTO)

JAMES THOMAS (Dusty) PLEMONS

age 79, died May 11, 2000 in a Knoxville, TN hospital of cancer. Dusty was the son of Thomas Luther Plemons and Anabelle McDaniels Plemons. He was buried in Christianburg Baptist Church Cemetery beside his wife, Katherine Coleman Plemons. Dusty leaves two daughters, Betty Jo Plemons Fietz, and Patricia Arlene Plemons Shope; and one son, James Michael Plemons.

Dusty worked for many years at the power generation plant of TVA near Kingston, Roane County, Tennessee. He left there to become a police officer for the City of Sweetwater, Tennessee.

He was my cousin and my friend, too.
