ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Harold & Karen Plemons celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a reception at New Center Baptist Church, Hartselle, Alabama on October 18th. Many relatives and friends attended. States represented were Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, and Illinois.
Wedding vows were exchanged on November 10, 1978 at Bethel Baptist Church in Troy, Illinois. Harold retired from National Steel in Granite City, Illinois in 1990. They moved to his homeplace in 1991 against Karen’s wishes.
They have six children between them: Harold W. Plemons, Renee Plemons Kowalski, Gayle Plemons James, Timothy Plemons, Tracy Schmitt Hardison, & Scott R. Schmitt. They have six grandchildren: Ronnie, Matt, Lucas Ussery, Theresa & Timmy Plemons, and Kayla Hardison.
